On Wednesdays during the school year, St. John’s provides faith-based programming after school. Kindergarten through 6th grade students can ride our bus to the church from Kasson-Mantorville Middle and Elementary Schools. From 3:00 p.m. – 3:45 p.m. students get a healthy snack and spend time in fellowship with friends. From 3:45 p.m. – 4:45 p.m. volunteers offer different “Choice Time” activities, including Children’s Chimes, Playground Time, Games, Science Experiments, and Obstacle Courses just to name a few. It is our hope that this program will continue to gather together our children for fun and fellowship.
Registration for 2018-2019 will be available soon! The information below pertains to the 2017-2018 year, but is a good starting point if you want to know more.
We are looking for adult help! If you can help out one week, one month, one season, or the whole year by supervising or even leading an activity, let Deacon Amanda know ((507) 634-7110 or Amanda@stjohnskasson.org). She’s also happy to answer any questions!
