Thank you for your support of CKP

We are so blessed by the support you give to Creation Kids Preschool. You celebrated CKP Sunday with our students, families, staff, and board. The children were so proud of the projects they had on display. Many of them had parents and grandparents by the hand as they led them to their own project. Their singing at the service was definitely from the heart! Wasn’t it great to have all those children up in front for the children’s sermon?

Several families came to our Open House to meet our staff and to see our facilities. Enrollment for the 2018-2019 has begun. Class information and registration forms are available online ( or call Phyllis Sands at (507) 634-7110 for additional information.

We were happy to have so many of you come and eat our chicken and wild rice soup at our Lenten Wednesday supper. The desserts were awesome! Your globe offerings for CKP were so generous. With your support, prayers, and encouragement, we continue to be able to offer a Christian preschool experience for the children of our church and our community.

CKP Update – June 2015

PhyllisSandsBy Phyllis Sands

The end of the 2014-15 Creation Kids Preschool year has come too soon for all of us.  Not only are we saying goodbye to the children who will be going on to kindergarten, but also to our teaching assistants, Angie Hanson and Ingvild Herfindahl.

We have been so fortunate to have Ingvild with our four-year-olds and our big bonus was her knowledge of and love for children’s books which she shared with our students and staff.

Angie has been part of CKP for a long time. We knew her as a parent, then as a board member, and last of all, as a teaching assistant with all our age groups.  Her love of children and their families, her kindness, and her enthusiasm have been a wonderful blessing for our program.

We send our prayers and best wishes with Angie and Ingvild as they move on to different careers and are grateful we will continue to share in St. John’s activities with them and their families.
