Kasson-Mantorville Habitat for Humanity seeking applicants for next homes

St. John’s is proud to be part of the Kasson-Mantroville area Habitat for Humanity. They are now seeking applicants for the next homes to be build in our area:

Need a “hand up” to decent shelter? Habitat for Humanity will be selecting up to two qualified families for the next homes in the Kasson-Mantorville area. Interested applicants must come to one of two pre-application meeting to learn more, and to receive a full application. The mandatory pre-application meetings will be held at First Congregational Church in Mantorville at 515 Walnut Street in Mantorville on Thursday, June 25 at 6:30 pm, and Saturday, June 27 at 10:00 am. All adults to be named on the mortgage must attend, but each can attend a different meeting. Attendees should make child care arrangements as necessary.

Don’t miss this opportunity to start your new life story!

Habitat for Humanity Is Building In Kasson

Progress continues on the 2014 Kasson home at 801 3rd St SE. Kourtney Zierath and her three children are the partner family for this build. The house is being built in partnership with Thrivent Builds and is scheduled to be completed by year-end. Now, and throughout the rest of the year is the time volunteers and donations are needed to help with construction. St. John’s and other local churches have volunteered to provide help. St. John’s next work day is Saturday, October 4, and we need 3-5 volunteers. Please consider supporting this wonderful ministry by donating your time, money, meals, or materials. Contact Dennis Foster at (507) 634-6686 for more information.
