The confirmation program at St. John’s is a program that continues the faith journey for our 7th and 8th grade students as they learn about what it means to be a disciple of Christ

There are options for class on Sunday mornings at 9:30 am or on Wednesday evenings at 7:30pm. Class is 45-50 minutes long. Our time together will be in person with lots of active learning and fun! Our emphasis for class is on building community.

Not only do students spend two years learning about the Bible and Luther’s Small Catechism, but it is also a time in which they will develop friendships with classmates and small group leaders, take part in service projects, and have meaningful conversations with a mentor of their choosing.

Our program continues to change and adapt to fit the needs of the families in our programming. The goal is to be flexible while building community as we learn and grow in our faith together. While we understand that life is busy and multiple commitments compete for our attention, at St. John’s we believe that rooting ourselves in regular worship of God as well as spiritual practices such as prayer, service projects, and scripture reading connect us deeply to God and to one another.
